Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn launches this summer

The third phase of the closed beta will be taking place this June, with the full version of the game launching on PS3 and PC shortly after.The remade MMOG is coming as a result of the largely negative reaction to FFXIV’s original launch back in 2010. Complaints included boring, wrote gameplay and a generally buggy experience.In response to criticisms, Sony president Yoichi Wada apologized for the state of FFXIV and stated that the reputation of the Final Fantasy series had been “greatly damaged” as a result.
