I converted Homer, but he doesn't work...the Vs. screen always Crashes. Same thing goes for any of the characters from Street Fighter 3rd Strike and BrolliT.

Also, Carnage from the above pack does not work...You see him sorta start his intro and he dissappears a little bit before the fight freezes.

I will upload a few characters in this same post tommorrow. Meanwhile, here's Spiderman by Erradicator and SVC style Ken & Evil Ken if you hold Start down while selecting him. Like I said before...glithcy conversions...Spiderman freezes while dashing and his moves are way off, and Ken is just up up and awayyy!!!!

Here's a few I've found that were specially designed with Infinity Cat compatibility in mind. I didn't get the chance to test Shin Akuma on the PSP port yet, so I can't report if he works or not.

Evil Sonic is one of my MUGEN characters.

Shin Akuma works, though he has a bug when loading.

Thought I'd post this here since it should help with converting characters. Since the conversion file is kind of cumbersome to use when you have a bunch of characters I thought I'd try and make a UI for it...but since I suck at coding I failed and asked for help on Microsofts MSDN forums and a help full fellow basically made one for me. So here it is a mugen to psp mugen character converter.

Now one thing is it only works if you have mugen and infinitycat set up in the folder c:\mugen other than that it's basicly the same as the conversion file that comes with infinitycat (program just uses it to do the work). Also it converts ALL CHARACTERS in the \char directory so only put the characters you want to convert in there.

Hope it works for you guys, I've only tested it on my laptop but it worked fine.

Another odd thing about it if you run it on a folder that already has converted charactes it will still convert them and the others in \chars but it will leave the .bin and .log files in c:\mugen...not sure why but it's a minor issue.

I know alot of characters from SF3 that work, like dudley Chun li works but freeze when you do a kikoken but everything else about her works.

I recommend testing characters that are memory heavy with the Power rangers character Lipsyncher

She is like 300 kb

SVC ken can't do any damage but can get beat up, and if you do shoryuken, he doesn't come back lol.

The main problem is that when you hit something with certain characters, Infinity cat doesn't verify that it hit, so it keeps hitting till the hit box leaves.

Holding down start lets you get violent ken like it should so that works.

His ex bar even shows up.

Other than that the psp one needs a little bit of work then it's perfect.

Like with kungfu man, he is perfect.

well i did manage to convert ness from earthbound but sadly there are a few errors such as pk cross will cause very slow repeating frames and pk fire will leave a copy of ness behind. I might've done it wrong

Well, you didn't do anything wrong Safari Al...there's just no Right Results coming out of the availabe converter right now, cause it always gives BUGGY results....I haven't heard from anyone that has gotten 100% accurate character translations out of it...don't you think there would already be Fan made Custom Game Paks available out there like flies on turd? There aren't, cause the converter is not accurate...Sure it'll display your converted character over on your PSP in MOST cases, but if you look again, their moves are retarded!!!

Let's face it people...until we get a converter that actually fixes all these bugs (way too much hits and damage + pointless extra fireballs) Mugen is still very crappy on PSP.
So to those who are new to homebrew, don't expect nothing special from the available Mugen ports...you will waste your time and end up being very very dissapointed.

Man, Wally.....This should have stayed closed.

This project has been put on pause for the longest time. The creator SofiyaCat stopped announcements publicly when supposedly Elecbyte's (original creators of Mugen) website was back up at the beggining of the year.

Even if it works on the Slim this is far from stable, so DON'T BOTHER.

Meanwhile, Sakirsoft is still currently working on the next beta release fo Shugendo (PC) and to this day still promises a PSP port once the main PC engine is more stable/completed. I should know, I frequent the forum.

A word of advise to the more bothersome crowd in this scene (you know who you are kiddies) DO NOT BUG HIM for a release cause we just might never get one at all to begin with since a PSP port is nowhere on his priority list right now. AND DON'T ASK FOR SOURCE CODE cuz...

#1 You're not gonna get it...and

#2 You wouldn't know what to do with it in the first place now, would you hmmm?

#2 - I don't know what you are implying, I have sucessfully ported lots of games to the slim, its quite fun sometimes gets annoying! (You think I hang around PSpdev for no reason eh eh eh! ;)

THAT SOUNDS GOOD TO ME and for wally YES this does work on the slim it must go in the game150 folder and u mast have leda v0.2 on ur psp and this will run and it loads much faster too

now i will try characters i need the converter :( ok guys be back later hope this project continues i really want mugen on psp imma try to contact sofiacat on youtube maybe i will get a response

yea it's supposed to be released since may, but it looks like they have run into some problems. i really hope they get it to work because i really like playing mugen and if it becomes portable many people like myself will be jubilant about it. does anyone know if sakir is still working on it?

From what I can tell he's still working on it. Pestering him will only slow things down though. I suggest you check out his website for more updates, as that's where it'll be posted first

Yeah, no offense to SofiaCat, but she seemed to release things to get attention and then dropping support for it shortly after, She was talented, but in over her head.

I'll try posting some converted characters in the meantime. I'd love to see more characters on my PSP now that I downgraded to play this (and other 1.5 Games...).
