Sim City 5 to be announced next week

EA will announce Sim City 5 at the Game Developers Conference next week, according to a German mag Gamestar.
http://cdn.medialib.computerandvideo...mb_wide300.jpgThe rumour has been picked up by forum surfers over at Rock, Paper, Shotgun and is backed up by a tease from earlier this month,when EA PR boss Erik Reynold tweeted: "MORE INFO! EA Maxis GDC announcement, huge event w/ special guests".A subsequent Facebook message made stronger hints that announcement would be SimCity related: "How can we change the world together? Find out when EA hosts the Game Changers event at GDC. What would you do if you had the power to change the world?"
Sim City 5 is looking like a sure bet at this point. Either way, we'll find out for sure on March 6 when EA live streams its GDC event.
