Problems logging-in?
Firefox users seem to experiencing problems logging-in the forums, fi your having the same trouble try login in via the news pages e.g. dcemu.co.uk, in the right side column.

As announced a few days ago, was finally released by the team at the brand new PSPGEN Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-A, compatible with PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 (excluding those with TA-088v3).

I think I'll wait a bit to try it, although I really like being able to have subfolders, just not enough to make me change the setup I have right now on my PSP (plugins, custom waves and background, etc)
Hi all.Im noobie.Just bought my psp 2000 from pawn shop and loves it.It came with 3.71 and I foolishly updated to 5.50.Im hopeing I can still run the new 5.50 gen and really enjoy all the love.I have not read anything about haveing to use a pandora battery to install the cfw 5.50.I live in the mountains of Colorado.Great weather and beautiful women.I hope to get to know most of you here. b4nn3d

You must have a Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory Stick to install cfw on any PSP running 3.51 or higher. So yes, you still need the battery to install 5.50 GEN if you're on the official 5.50 firmware.
