Why upgrade to 2.71 SE when yew can update to 3.02 OE? 3.02 OE is the best firmware EVER!

I do hope that wasn't directed at me. I said that my PSP CAME WITH 2.01 installed. I obviously don't still have that. What I want to know is why I'm getting this message when:
I have 2.80
My PSP is non-TA-82

Sure, the easiest way would probably be with an auto installer. Ill try and find one

sicc I remeber when the 2.6 downgrader came out I was so excited it was possable but I still waited awile for an updated DG.

PS. probably a good idea to DG to 1.0 after this and run the Offical 1.5 update from sony

i didn't wait for a safer one on my 2.6... it worked fine.. but it is completely up to you. but i am so amazed at how fast the psp scene has come along.. i mean im playin ps1 games on my psp that i got through the ps3 store.. and i can still play homebrew. now back to syphon filter
