It would have been a bit difficult for them to rock an EyeToy for the PSP (though we know they did have a camera prototype), so instead Sony took a page out of Nintendo’s book with vocal game interaction and announced the Talkman for the PSP. Available in Japan in November for ¥5,800 (about $50), it should be able to translate to understand Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean—you know, the important languages. Seriously though, anyone else see the humor in a bird asking for the “duty-free store?” No? Fine.

Alright! Lets pay an extra 50 bucks to play the 2 crappy games coming out that will support this costly peripheral!!! Or we could buy a Nintendo DS with the microphone already built in and more games supporting it! Yeah!!
I'll take the ladder.
Sorry for the outburst.
See, it's because of that kind of thinking that the only US games out for the PSP right now are from the racing / sports / action genres. Japan has a huge variety of awesome games; everything from RPG's, to virtual pets, to simulators... and we don't get any of it because they think we're too narrow-minded to appreciate it... and they might even be right =-/
