psp Does "Undiluted Platinum" support PSP new ver. hardware(TA-082) ?

Ookm posted this over at his Blog:

Because Actel ProASIC Plus FPGA just support 3.3V/2.5V BUT PSP new ver. hardware(TA-082) use 1.8V !!

Does anyone can confirm it ?

What does this mean, well at the moment i dont know what to think but those more tech savvy than me will know for sure, inform us all via the comments

it specifically mentions it works on all versions.

depending on your version probably decides installation instructions.

like if you have an 082, you solder to one point, if you have an older version you solder to another point
changing the volts is easy.

Its not really a firmware related thing Vetta, but different setups in the hardware. I really don't think changing something in the firmware could stop a hardware mod like the chip, but future hardware tweaks by sony could atleast delay the release of another chip for that revision.
