UPDATE Because of hardware problems its been moved to october
Gamepark are to launch the XGP Kids console on the 16th of September according to a post on their forums. The Console which is the follow up model to the excellent GP32 which had a fantastic emulation and homebrew scene, has many of the same functions which is no surprise with Gamepark claming it to be a newer model of the GP32.
Im not down with gamepark, I go with game park holdings. Game Park is trying to be the next SONY / PSP. They dont realise that the true success of the GP32 was due to the coders & homebrew programmers.
the real xgp is going to be more powerful than the gp2x, the xgp has wifi and 3d processor and it also has way better stats than psp and gp2x, with wifi imagine a homebrew web browser always improved on adding features with each release that isnt limiting like the psps browser and the xgp also has a keyboard built in so it will be easier to surf, and with the 3d processor it will be possible to emulate n64 on the xgp, porting stuff over to the xgp wouldnt be hard either since most specs of both are the same but xgp is better overall, imagine one day being able to play psone and n64 on the same portable console, it wont happen soon when the xgp is released but give it some time like a couple of months or a year and it will have a psone and n64 emu
p.s. sorry for the rant, but the real xgp will be so awesome when its released
to see all information about XGP visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XGP
there is even a target price...
XGP Kids will be fully compatibile with GP32 software but how fast the emulators will run on it, its interesting...
