Default Official PS1 Emulator How To Thread

Heres a little guide I've made on how to use the popstation program included in the new 3.02 OE-B Custom Firmware

Ok lets get started shall we

    1. Download the firmware which includes popstation
    http://dl.qj.net/click.php?pid=111&fid=11922

    2. Install OE-B (This guide doesnt need to cover this hopefully)

    3. Place popstation folder on your desktop.

    4. Retrieve both EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN of Hot Shots Golf 2. Any source will do. Place it in popstation.

    5. Retrieve the necessary dll
    cygwin1.dll

    6. Place said dll in your system32 folder. This folder is found in the windows folder of your C drive.

    7. Retrieve an ISO, BIN, IMG of the Ps1 game you want to emulate and place it in popstation.

    8. Rename it IMAGE.ISO IMAGE.BIN or IMAGE.IMG according to what type of file it is.

    9. Open Notepad, simply type this line (no quotes). "Popstation.exe IMAGE.***"
(The three asterisks of course signify the ISO, BIN, or IMG of the file you are trying to emulate.)

    10. Save this all important file as pops.bat and place it on the popstation folder on your desktop.

    11. Double click pops.bat and let the program do its magic.

    12. After the program has spit out the new eboot, place it and the a copy of the original keys.bin in a folder of your choosing in your psp's game folder.

Root>PSP>Game>FF7(or any game title or whatever you want to call this folder)

Inside should sit eboot.pbp and keys.bin

    13. Start up your psp, go to the hot shots golf image and thank dax for his hard work.

Try putting it in different folders e.g. game 150 game 302 and game that happened when I updated my cousins psp and after I switched it about it worked.

Yeah but that's the problem I oddly do not have a 1.50 or 3.02 Game Folder just a Game Folder.

Also I originally used 1.50 f that makes any difference with the folder.

EDIT:Finally got OE-B Working Thanks for the help guys

nice both of our guides should help anyone with the problems here

YOu should put this in dude

if your psp gets a black screen then its probably because your rip is not 100% clean dump, make sure your dump is clean with no compression or modifcations to it, to fix this problem

also im here to help with any problems here

i do remember helping you djk
