Getting the file off that server was a challenge, but yeah, ad-hoc. sweet.
I also noticed the console background is no longer transparent, I don't have to toggle the console anymore every time the host changes maps, and I have yet to see the "--> client to server keep alive" map load failure. So it looks like you fixed a few other multiplayer issues along the way.
It looks like infrastructure mode is broken now. It will go through the join process, but stops at "trying...", map never loads. PC or PSP hosting doesn't make a difference.
ok, we played today about 2 hours, and we get "keep alive" messages, and load failure, so i tryed to fix it, it can be fixed for now, download again ... http://zdoom.ic.cz/download/pspquake.rar
about infrastructure, i was not sucessful to connecting PSP to PC, but PSP to PSP yes, in original version, non edited by me, maybe its becouse i am using glquake 1.13
about 'unable to open conrtol socket' i have no idea why, it is working for me, but why not for you? (i have 3.71 M33 - 3)
I am now able to run an infrastructure game against a dedicated PC host running the commercial release build of Quake1. Turns out I had a semi-hung samba PDC. After I rebooted it my infrastructure games started working again. I can't explain the root cause, but it works now and had nothing to do with your code.
In situations where the 1.0 build and your 12/16 build had keepalive messages, this new build has no problems. It is much more stable than the 1.0 version. Great work.
In infrastructure mode, I still have to toggle the console (push select) at every map change unless I am playing on the host. I have never seen this happen in ad-hoc mode.
I also get occasional graphics corruption that can only be described as "4 way purple psychedelic mode", which is always followed by a crash. again, not your code, the 1.0 build does the same thing.
I don't suppose you would be able to fix multiplayer skins, and the skin selector in multiplayer setup?

Any chance you could please reupload the file as everytime time I download it as soon as I try to extract the files from the rar file it says the contents are corrupt?
