    iPhone can't compete with what it wasn't designed for. Stick with music and videos, Apple. Leave the games to the big boys.

    much depends on the quality of the battery system.
    A higher spec may have a trade-off in
    higher power consumption/shorter charge cycles.

    Theres already a few very powerful and expensive handheld PCs ,
    but (like laptops) they're only usable on-the-go for 1-2 hrs
    before they run outta juice, unlike, say, the GBA that goes forever on a pair of AAs.

    No tactile pad = no chance of success for gaming, end of story.

    I think he/she is right, in terms of applications. Since apple released the SDK and all, the scene would have more supporters. Apple seems to go a lot easier on homebrew also. A phone can depend on home made applications. However, a gaming system cannot.
