UPDATE 7.30pm After the reveal of Rise of the Tomb Raider during Microsoft's press conference, Square Enix's other trademark revealed earlier today has indeed been outed as a Guardian of Light sequel.Revealed on GameTrailers (thanks, NeoGAF), the title will again be an isometric affair, with four-player co-op.ORIGINAL STORY 8.35am Square Enix has trademarked two new Tomb Raider titles just days before E3, suggesting we may hear what's next for Lara Croft before the week is out.
The publisher snapped up LaraCroftandtheTempleofOsiris.com and RiseoftheTombRaider.com last Friday (thanksSuperannuation). Both URLs currently only load blank pages. We know that a sequel to last year's Tomb Raider reboot is in development at Crystal Dynamics, and is now in full swing after the launch of the studio's successful Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. But the wording of the "Temple of Osiris" title sounds more similar to Square Enix's isometric Guardian of Light spin-off. It's possible that we'll see another small downloadable game in the series before the next big console remake.
