    Hi Badwog69.

I'm sure you mean WPA-CCMP which is infact WPA/WPA2 AES encryption as this is what the PS3 uses when acting as an access point for its wireless security.

Its totally different to crack than simple WEP.
However its still not that hard.
Your PS3 should have an SSID of PS3-5179957 the last numbers being part of the MachineID.

Of course we don't really need to crack the WPA as the PS3 allows us to just change the Hash or password to one of our own choice.

Let me know how you get on and if you want to share any info you have.

That's good and well, but how do we get it to broadcast, my computer can't find it ... And where's the machineID?

To find the MachineID you need to sniff traffic (thats how I've done it).
Its also contained in the fash if you can dump it.

How did you know about the Ps3 and the wireless cracking if you can't get your PS3 to broadcast an SSID?.

I thought you said you had found a way to browse the system files?, and a way to get the WEP key?.

    LOL - yeah sorry,

Only noticed just now, I must have been skim reading before.

It will automatically turn itself into an Accesspoint when Remote Play is initiated.

your PC will then be able to detect a new Wireless access point.

    Sorry for delay in replying

I have custom firmware on the PSP

    A readme would be great.
As at the moment I'm a little stuck getting past the PREMO connect

    HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
    Connection: close
    Pragma: no-cache
    Content-Length: 0
    PREMO-Version: 0.1
    PREMO-Application-Reason: 00000000

    Connection closed by foreign host.
