Capcom's arcade adaptation of the Sengoku Basara (aka Devil Kings) series is due for Japanese release later this month. But prior to that, Capcom has gone about announcing a home version of the game.

Surprisingly, it's not for the Wii, PS3, or even the Xbox 360. Instead, Sengoku Basara X (Cross) will be coming to the PS2, the company revealed today. Although we don't have details at the moment, the Arc System Works-developed fighter promises a few new gameplay systems just for its home version.

Capcom is planning a home release in Japan on June 26. Joining a standard 6,290 yen version of the game will be a 8,390 yen limited edition that will include a voice CD ad a set of character cards.
