    I find it a bit misleading to tell you the truth. A C4D file is a file format from a 3D package called Cinema 4D by a company called Maxon. There's a brief history here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C4D.

    For some reason unbenownst to me, people have started using the term C4D to describe what seems to be various random renders, regardless of whether they've been done in Cinema 4D, Maya, LightWave or any other 3D program. I think that is what these folks are referring to, just abstract render files of various things they've found online or perhaps modelled and rendered themselves in a 3D program.

    To get back on topic, I quite like it Triv1um. Is it meant to be something as I can't quite tell? It looks like some sort of armoured figure leaping out to me, as if the camera is below looking up, with what appears to be an explosion in it's groin

    Indeed, beety explained it perfect.

    It just what ive always known them to be called.

    And haha, not it was just a random C4D I personally thought when it was finished it looked like a fly :P
