Default Old but unused N-Gage games on sale for $6.99 at EB

EB Games is finally clearancing out its older stock of new but unused N-Gage games for $6.99 each. If you do order online, add a used game or accessory to get free S&H with the code SAVER at checkout, and use an EB Edge card if you have one for bonus savings. (Support our source with the CAG15 code for further discounts on the used items you order.)

If you’re lucky—and actually interested in Nokia’s mobile games platform (which at least 1% of you seem to be)—then you might still be able to order cheap copies of Colin McRae Rally 2005, Operation Shadow, Spider-Man 2, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Tomb Raider (“Starring Lara Croft”), Worms World Party, and/or the original X-Men Legends all for $6.99 each online. As for other titles which have since sold out (and disappeared from the online listings)—such as King of Fighters (“EXTREME”!), Ashen, and Requiem—maybe you’ll have better luck in EB stores, though prices online have been known to vary from those offered in stores in the past.

Also, if you’re still patiently waiting for a great deal on the N-Gage, perhaps now is the time to jump in: Nokia is offering a free copy of X-Men Legends II (or a $25 credit for any other game on the official online store) with a new QD and “service from Cingular or T-Mobile,” which will net you that free after-rebate deal common to not-so-game-centered phones. Whether $7 clearances are good for N-Gage marketing, however, is another question.

The Gamestop deal is handy since they actually stocked some of the most recent N-Gage titles, like Xanadu, Roots, and Glimmerati. From what I can tell, EB stocked nothing later than WWE Aftershock, and even then not many stores ever got it. Realistically, Chaos Theory is the most recent title EB stocked in decent quantities.

So for older stuff, EB's cheaper. But for newer stuff, your best bet is GS.

    Good luck,

    -HD
