Microsoft has announced that its Surface 3 LTE edition will be coming to the UK on Friday.
Two configurations will be available, including 64GB and 128GB variants, both with 4GB RAM, running on Windows 8.1 Professional.
The device features a 10.8-inch Full HD touchscreen display and comes equipped with one year of Office 365 Personal.
It boasts a range of ports, including a full size USB 3.0, a Mini DisplayPort, a Micro USB charging port as well as a headset jack, plus it comes with up to 10 hours of battery life.
Brian Hall, general manager for Microsoft Surface, said in a blog post: “I’ve been so excited to see the reception so far of Surface 3, and especially the reception from students. Surface 3 was designed to offer what customers loved about Surface Pro 3 in a more affordable, more compact package.”
Prices start at £50 up front, and then small businesses will have to pay £27.67 a month.
Although, Microsoft originally billed the device at £77,777,77 as spotted by a reader of The Registerwho took a screen shot of the price tag.
Microsoft has since noticed the error and removed the price form its store, since the cheaper version is meant to be a fraction of that price.
