Default Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs Kickstarter - Dreamcast, SNES, PC Engine ports

Our Kickstarter is going on! While we have Nintendo 3DS and PC Steam as main goals, we also have real, physical Sega Dreamcast, SNES and PC Engine versions as stretch goal! Real 80s IP on real classic consoles!
When I was a kid, I always wanted to have a SNES game about my favorite anime series, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. This never has happened. In 2005 I went ahead and contacted the licensor of the show and now finally we can make the game, if we reach the goals on Kickstarter. In order to give you the most accurate 16-Bit GFX experience, we are working with Simon Butler, a veteran from the good old times. He was one of the GFX guys from Ocean Software. The regular games press is laughing at us because we include real classic (homebrew) ports as stretch goals, even before PS4 and Xbox One. My first consoles were Megadrive and SNES and I want to do what nobody has done before.

Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs is an all-new 2D 16-Bit style run'n'gun shoot-'em-up including giant Mecha action, based upon the original series from 1986. Allow us to take you back in time with this original 80's IP. Power Stride and Ready to Ride! Please support us to make the real classic ports a reality. You can find us here on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...the-video-game

Let us show them, that homebrew is kicking ass!Thank you very much for supporting us.

I have awesome news for you guys! We have started to work on the game cover.
What is awesome about this? Well the artwork for it is being made right now in Japan!
I can't reveal the artist at this time but just believe me , it will be amazing!
To convince this artist in the first place was very hard.
I hope the receive the first sketch soon. I am so exited about this.

    Howdy Pardners!

We have released a playable demo version for our upcoming game Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. You can downlaod the demo here:
    http://callxyz.com/demo-version
Our demo is available for Dreamcast, Windows, MacOS and Linux.

If you are not able to check out the demo, you can always watch a video about it here:

We know that many people missed our Kickstarter. Lots of people asked how to get one of the DC limited editions. The one from Kickstarter was sold out but we decided to release another one for those who missed it. You can check out our Saber Rider Ramrod Edition here:
    http://callxyz.com/srfund

Every extra money generated from this Limited Edition is going straight into the development of our game. It will help us to hire top pixel artists like Henk Nieborg or Armen Mardirossian and to include more content like a 2P mode. Please pre-order now!

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you very much for your support!
