    Default Let Homebrew take up less MS space!

    Here's the how-to:

    1. Download File Assistant ++.
    2. Use KXploit to place it onto your PSP through KXploit.
    3. Add any EBOOTs you like to your PSP through KXploit.
    4. Browse to the "GAME" folder through your PC and delete all % folders except for the one for "File Assistant".
    5. Exit USB mode and run File Assistant.
    6. Go to the folder of the game without the % sign.
    7. Highlight the EBOOT.PBP and press X 2 times to run the program on your 1.50 PSP without the % folder!

    NOTE: After doing this, all programs/games/emulators that do not have a dummy (%) folder must be exectued through File Manager.

    I hope I have "saved some lives"!

    Crap. I screwed up. You'll want to do this instead.

    1. Use your PSP to delete all of the actual programs and leave the Corrupted Data.
    2. Run the Corrupted Data through File Assistant.

    Sorry for any misunderstanding. If I have time, I will create a video tutorial to straighten it all up.

    And here it is. The video that tells all. Here is what the video shows:

    1. The system information window
    2. Scrolls over to the Games menu
    3. Shows File Assistant ++, pspWeather, and Corrupted Data.
    4. Deletes pspWeather, leaving Corrupted Data and File Assistant (File Assistant's corrupted data has been hidden and cannot be seen)
    5. Runs File Assistant ++
    6. Opens (the still existing) pspWeather folder
    7. Runs EBOOT.PBP
    8. Loads successfully!

    In case you were wondering, this trick also works even if the Corrupted Data is being hidden. Just delete the program from the PSP's Games menu, go into File Assistant, and run it!

    OK, but which eboot does it delete when you do it from the PSP? Is it the small one in the % folder or the big one in the non-% folder? If it is the big one then that would save a lot of space...

    If you delete the program from the PSP, it will delete the % folder.

    I've gotta be honest, I'm not exactly wowed.
    If you were already concerned about space your % folders, they wouldn't even be all that big in the first place, just a handful of KB each. And now you have to take longer by booting FA++ first and then the game second. Heck, you can probably save more space by just deleting FA++ instead (though you shouldn't, since then you'd lose the beautiful OSX skin )
    I guess if you reeeeeally need the space it's alright, but I wouldn't exactly call it a "hack."
