Default Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition for PS4, NS & XB1 – V is for Victory!

The legend of Tales Of series is as old as time itself, all is started when a bard called Yoshiharu Gotanda from the archipelago of Jipang traveled far and wide across the country to tell many fantasy tales to the people who have had the patience to hear them.
Inspired by real history facts, mythologies, and foreign folklore; in every single chapter of this monumental series, people could feel a true sense of wonder who helped many of them to face the life’s challenges with renewed courage and determination.

Set in a fantastical universe infused with magic; the series of Tales Of overstepped the myth to appear in our world in the form of video games, anime, audio dramas, and many other opuses who influence modern day culture with a bit of enchantment. Talking about games, until today 16 main episodes have reached our planet; indeed the first adventure entitled Tales of Phantasia was available for the good, old Super Famicom. It sees a 17 years-old boy called Cress Albane that with the aid of a bunch of wizards, clerics, warriors, and elves traveled in across the world to defeat Dhaos; the wicked sorcerer who has cast the world into darkness.
Since then, many heroes, villains, and kingdoms appeared on the screens of millions of players; all of them bring this vivid characters and lands to life…

Finally, the magically revamped version of the tenth installment is ready to reach all the cities, towns, and villages of Gaia with Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition for PS4, NS, and XB1!

Get ready to go on the planet Terca Lumireis. Composed of six continents (Ilyccia, Tolbyccia, Desier, Hypionia, Weccea, Yurzorea) and surrounded by the Outer Ocean. Its main energy source is “Blastia”; an ancient technology capable to absorb and store the power Aer substance, and reuse it to provide fire, water, light, and even fuel the huge seal that keeps the monsters far away.
So, the power of the world is concentrated in the single kingdom that controls the Blastia and this power led some of the people down the path of dictatorship. To oppose this force, people joined guilds to fight against the unfair rules.
In there the fates of 10 unconventional heroes headed by the former member of Brave Vesperia guild Yuri Lowell; will cross each other to bring to light a shadowy plan who aim to control the people, and eventually destroy the civilization.

Featuring additional scenarios, two new characters, new locations, and latest fashion’s costumes; Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition for PS4, NS, and XB1 offers a brand new fantasy-themed adventure beyond any imagination. Thanks to the much-beloved Linear Motion Battle System prove your worth as a hero, fighting hundreds of creatures that popping up when you least expect it. a very good game, really, the graphics are cool (although I would've appreciate slightly more realistic graphics and a little more dynamic animations), and the music puts you in the mood. For the scenario, a "new story" would have been nice, the characters are still very big manga shots, and again it would have been nice to dig a little bit more. But this game has more than consistent qualities, the gameplay is simple (what I mean by that is that it is easy to handle), dynamic, but does not take the actions so far, which makes the game manageable.
