The return of Resident Evil 2 has taken the EMEAA region by storm as the game debuts at No.1 in all three forms of ISFE's charts.
The Interactive Software Federation of Europe offers best-seller rankings for both physical and digital games, plus a chart that combines the two -- and Resident Evil 2 tops them all.
These charts are calculated for the week ending January 27, 2019, so expect Kingdom Hearts III to shake things up when we receive updated data.
Resident Evil 2 fends off ongoing strong sales for FIFA 19, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, with a few more unusual contenders in the digital chart.
While Grand Theft Auto V drops one place to No.2 in the download rankings, ousted by Capcom's horror hit, Focus Home Interactive takes No.3 with the launch of Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II.
In fact, digital sales alone were enough to propel this game to No.7 in the combined charts, as Battlefleet Gothic does not appear in the Retail Top 50.
Elsewhere in the digital chart, discounting enables Battlefield 1, Battlefield 4, Steep, Monster Hunter World and EA Sports UFC 2 to secure places in the Top 10. All other titles above them can be found in the upper echelons of both the physical and combined charts.
