The British Academy for Film and and Television Arts has revealed the nominations for this year's Games Awards, with the acclaimed God of War potentially set to clean up on the night.
The PlayStation adventure scored ten nominations, including for the coveted Best Game Award. Other nominations include for Artisitic Achievement, Audio Achievement, Game Design, Music and Narrative.
There are also four nominations for God of War in the Performer category, with Christopher Judge's Kratos, Danielle Bisuitti's Freya, Jeremy Davies' The Stranger and Sunny Suljic's Atreus in the running.
The only two non-God of War contenders in that category were Melissanthi Mahut -- for her performance as Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Kassandra -- and Red Dead Redemption 2's Roger Clark, who played protagonist Arthur Morgan.
Red Dead Redemption fares well in the nominations with six potential awards, as do celebrated indie hits Return of the Obra Dinn and Florence.
