Default Capcom rolling out its own retro system

Capcom is getting into the plug-and-play retro craze. But where the NES Classic, PlayStation Classic, and Sega Gensis Mini have gone small, Capcom is going big.
The publisher today announced the Capcom Home Arcade, a plug-and-play system with two full-size arcade joystick and button set-ups on a panel shaped like the company's logo. The Home Arcade features Sanwa joystick and buttons, and Capcom's European store front is current accepting preorders with a €229.99 price tag and an October 25 release date. (North American release details will be announced later.) It will be manufactured by Koch Media under license from Capcom.

As for the games, the Home Arcade will include 16 titles from the company's CPS1 and CPS2 arcade hardware offerings, running on the FB Alpha arcade and console emulator. While the lineup includes some of the company staples like Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting and Final Fight, it also features a number of deeper cuts like Capcom Sports Club, Mega Man: The Power Battle, and Armored Warriors. Perhaps most interesting among the offerings is Alien vs. Predator, the officially licensed 1994 arcade beat-'em-up that has never previously seen a home adaptation or re-release.
Capcom made no mention of being able to add more games to the system later on, but it does have WiFi that the company said will be used to connect to global high-score leaderboards.
