Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has established a beachhead on the EMEAA charts. Activision's latest shooter was the No. 1 game in terms of combined physical and digital unit sales for the third straight week, fending off challenges from five new entries into the top 10.
The PS4-exclusive Death Stranding came the closest to toppling Call of Duty, debuting in the second spot on the charts, followed closely by fellow new release Need for Speed: Heat. The remaining new arrivals in the top 10 included two Switch exclusives -- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 (sixth place) and Layton's Mystery Journey (ninth place) -- as well as the multiplatform Just Dance 2020 (tenth place).
The only other new release in the top 50 was Jumanji: The Video Game, which wound up 38th on the chart.
As for big movers, Paradox's Cities: Skylines on the PC surged from 277th place to 31st and Middle-earth: Shadow of War jumped from 52nd to 14th. Headed the other direction were Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, which fell from seventh to 25th, and The Outer Worlds, which dropped from tenth to 24th.
