Ya I was thinking the same thing... a Java psp emulator, even NES emulators in JAVA don't run very well on low end systems..... so PSP Java emulator will definintly require a high end computer to run....

A PSP emulator in Java would be extremely impractical. I would love to be proven wrong... when hell freezes over

Im not the most intelligent person when it comes to codeing, but if this guy is a "famous" coder, then im pretty sure hes got a good reason for codeing the thing in Java. Looking forward to it =)

Hmm, Java? from own experience i can tell it will be a hell to make it run at anything more tan 1/2 FPS.

Java itself runs over a emulator (JVM) so there is some serious performance loss over a language like C or C++

Java has an advantage in that it works in any OS, so if he is able to get this thing working, he won't have to change any code.
