I'd say it's more accurate to call it a "palm-top" computer. They've been around a LONG time - I had a chance to work on a Toshiba Libretto back in the 90's. The main difference here is that palm-tops have no joypad and a full keyboard (relatively speaking), while the Pandora has a full joypad and only a mini-keyboard.
