Ridge Racer mini game on psp

Does anyone know what system the 2D ridge racer mini game that comes on at the Beginning of the psp game was originaly for. It kind of ressembles the homebrew game for psp called "CAR The cheap game Show" which was released by -Fumikick-.Also is there any emulator that supports it.

Probably the original ridge racer arcade game or some old namco racing game.

Can you post a screen shot of it? I haven't played Ridge Racer so haven't seen the game. But as I spent more money in arcades during the 80's than NASA spend on shuttle missions, I might have an idea.

The name of the game is RallyX. It was first introduced as a Namco arcade game. You can play it on your PSP using Mame. Its also coming out as part of the Namco Museum Battle Collection on PSP. As far as I know its not available on any other console.
