Default Is this the PSP headset? Over. Could be! Over.

Not so sure about you, but this thing looks pretty much like an officially official Sony-made PSP headset to us. The first of what we hope will be many Sony-made PSP accessories to be released this holiday season — the PSP Giga Pack just isn’t quite sitting right with us right now as their sole offering. Apparently this bad boy’ll ship the 5th of November, and will run you up $19.99.

Wouldn't it make sense to release the accessory first?

That way you only waste money on the accessory for a short while, rather than wasting more on a game you can't play fully.

Looks good, I hope they don't limit the volume in the UK like they did with the white ear buds the PSP shipped with.

First playable voice game will be SOCOM Fire Team Bravo.
Once the devs have a grasp of the voice code, more built-in support for it in games will follow.
What you SHOULD be asking yourselves is "What firmware has the voice code support in it? 2.0 or 2.5?"
If it's 2.0, not a problem. If it's 2.5, you're in trouble as then you can't use any homebrew at all after upgrading.
Now, the SOCOM Beta "required" 2.0, but ran perfectly on 1.5 using a version changer.
But it also didn't have ANY single-player missions built into it or have voice support.
It was only to test out the infrastructure online multiplayer code, which ran VERY WELL and was just like playing SOCOM on the PS2. Numerous reports coming in from the beta testers said it had next-to-no lag at all. SOCOM will be yet another "must have" PSP title when it's released. I know I'll be buying a copy of it.
