    Default can some1 explain to me what this is?

    im new here.. but i have 2 quistions hoping to be answered without getting flamed

    first. what exactly is homebrew.. can some1 explain to me entirely what it is.

    and

    second. the sticky at the top of the page that says download emulator/homebrew

    the spanish thing he is talking about.. is that homebrew or is that to get homebrew on it(i read the whole thing and it confused me all)


    im getting a psp for christmas and it looks like im gona use homebrew and all.. i just wana get stuff straightened out before.

    OK.

    Homebrew are home-made programs and applications for a console. In this case, a PSP.

    The KXploit programs basically splits files within the homebrew program file and places it onto your PSP so version 1.50 can run it. Some developers will "pre-split" them for you so you do not have to yourself. I would suggest using Sei PSP Tool instead of KXploit though because it has extra features and keeps the homebrew icon.
