Default Secret Mario Cronicles (Unofficial port)

It seems that alot of people got hyper about the recent Mario V0.2 Demo release. I am not sure if these folks as well as the game developers are aware of the existing Mario stand-alone game port hosted by ps2dev.org.

Original PC/Linux version of the game is available @ http://smclone.sourceforge.net

If you missed that game, please see the attached zip file with 1.5/1.0 versions unofficial builds that I compiled based on the ps2dev version.

    The new unofficial version features:
    - speed optimizations
    - sound support (sound files included in the zip)
    - music support (the music package is not included in this distribution. It can be downloaded from:
    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/s...1.zip?download
unzip the file and put the data folder in to ms:/PSP/GAME/smc/)

    CONTROLS:

    [O] - enter
    [^] - jump
    [X] - exit
    analog joystick - menu navigation/movements

If you are interested in modding the game or creating the new levels, check
    http://smclone.sourceforge.net for details.

The official source code is available from: svn://svn.ps2dev.org/pspware/trunk/SMC
All credits for PSP port go to rinco and other ps2dev members.

    Thumbs up

Interesting port deniska. I'll keep an eye on this one, it's got alot of potential. If you mod screens on the PC version will they translate directly to use on the PSP? If so there is some serious MOD-A-BILITY going on here, since all the objects are png. Unfortunately the frames go a bit too fast on the PSP to make it enjoyable to play yet, and it also crashes quite easily. I think the select or start would make a better "exit" button since it's kind of easy to accidentally press the X.

Does anyone know how to install the entire thing from step one. I'm somewhat of a newbie at this whole thing. I just wanna get it running on my PSP V.2 ..... Can Anyone help? I keep seeing corrupted data on my PSP when I install (or at least try to install it) it.
