Hi, just registered in the hope that somebody can help,
Q. Is it possible to delete tracks stored in my computer in itunes library without them being erased from my ipod? Please dont laugh as i am very new to all of this. My Pc is windows based and is telling me its running out of space. If this can be done it would be great if somebody could post some real fool-proof instructions (and i do mean fool-proof, as in the cat sat on the mat kind of fool-proof)

Yeah, and how does that help?

right click your ipod in itunes and go to something like ipod options, you'll want to change the options to say "manual update", i can't remember exactly but it's something like that.
