According to the Seattle Post, Nintendo has begun shipping DS handheld units from their distribution center in Redmond, WA. This does not indicate an early launch of the system. Nintendo is simply shipping them out now so they will be in stores and ready for the November 21st launch date. What it does mean is that there might be a handful of stores across the country that accidentally (or purposefully) break the date and begin selling the systems early. This same thing recently happened to Microsoft and Bungie's Halo 2 for Xbox. [br][br]In a related story, some Nintendo promoters received their DS systems today. They'll be using their systems to spread the word on tours in various countries to get people hyped up for the system launch.
