Yeah, there are some minor preformance issues. Disabling the automap by enabling console mode in Options>General will give a noticeable speed increase in those rough spots, as will taking the screen size down a notch.
Hello i installed DSdoom for the first time and copied the full wad from my original doom to my sd cart...
Now the game launches fine.. But my question is...
Is it true that the game slows down in bigger rooms or with several enemies on screen???
It's already a bit slow in the start room...
With abit slow i would mean a difference between 60 fps going to 40 (Approxmatly + just an example on the drop)
Is this right?
Smaller shorter rooms the game runs at 100% of course...
So is this right?

Ty for the reply...
U'r answers fixed it a litte =)
But if i take the screen size down a noch...
The lower part of the screen has a frozen image of my weapon/hand :S not a big border but it's still noticable and iritating :S
You can also get a mega speed increase if you disable or enable translucency, it doesn't matter which as long as you change it once. I discovered this when I was playing the Doom3 wad and found that I got rid of the lag when you accidently fire the shotgun at close range at something like walls. Now it plays at warp speed.
Sadly theres not much you can do for some wads where there is a ridiculous number of enemies like Blood. Second level runs like treacle.
