    Thumbs up SuperTux 1.0

    A bunch of bugs fixed:

    Controls:
in-game directionals are re-linked to D-PAD (a lot of you requested this one)
If you like the analog pad, use the previous version.
    [X] FIRE/SELECT
    [R.TRIGGER] JUMP
    [START] PAUSE/MENU

You can re-assign the last 3 by changing the values
    in ./supertux/config file:
    (joystick-a 5)
    (joystick-b 2)
    (joystick-start 11)

    PSP Button codes are:
    0 Triangle
    1 Circle
    2 Cross
    3 Square
    4 Left trigger
    5 Right trigger
    6 Down
    7 Left
    8 Up
    9 Right
    10 Select
    11 Start
    12 Home
    13 Hold

You can transfer your "saves" from the previous version:
just copy the contents of ./supertux/save directory

You can skip the intros/credits screens now by hitting the [FIRE]

Although the level editor is not completely functional yet, you can now do some basics like deleting objects/saving screens, etc.

If you want to create your own levels, stick to PC/Linux/MacOS verions for now.

BTW, the game is easily modable: you can change all the graphics/music/level logic w/o any programming knowledge.
So I hope to see some mods soon ;-)

Please let me know if the new version works for 2.0 firmware...

    Enjoy,

    DENIS

I am downloading it now and shall begin testing on 2.00!

Although I knew where to find it, you may notice that the link has been censored...That website has been very hateful (and childish) towards DCEmu and Wraggster, so this forum automatically censors any referance to them!

Any chance of it being uploaded somewhere else?

EDIT:- Tested EBoot 1.00 with EBoot Loader v0.8.5, i get the message:-

"Module attribs 00001000 suggest a kernal-mode app Press X to try anyway"

When I press X, I can see a mouse cursor in the top-left of the screen for a few seconds, then it resets to the EBoot Loader Menu!

    Cheers,
    Fox

thats the forum censoring the link and I can't tell you what the full link is, hence I've asked for it to be hosted somewhere else!

I'm now uploading it to my webspace and I'll post the link once it's done (about 10 mins)!

    Cheers,
    Fox

    Thank you, guys..

Did you try both EBOOTs with the 2.00 firmware?
Could you also check if the is anything written to stdout / stderr files in the game directory?

You may also want to get rid of ./supertux directory if one got created before you try...

    stdout.txt
    Code:
    Datadir: ./data/
    stderr.txt
    Code:
Warning: Unable to open the file "./.supertux/config" for read!!!

Error: I could not load the icon image: ./data//images/icon.xpm
The Simple DirectMedia error that occured was:
    Couldn't open ./data//images/icon.xpm
I only tried the 1.00 EBOOT, and by reading the stderr.txt I can see what the problem is...I didn't copy the DATA directory from the 1.5 folder!

    I'll try again... ... ... ...

Okay, it still doesn't work, now I get a lot of activity from the MS, and then everything stops and I'm left with a blank screen. The stdout.txt and stderr.txt are both empty!

    Cheers,
    Fox
