i've found a place where they do something like editing savegames or patches for savegames...
I found this on PSP Updates
Cheatworks PSP Type S - Save Game Editor
Team n:exp who released the PSP file scanner AntiTroj last week is at it again, this time with a Game SaveData editor. Not only that, but it works running on the PSP itself. For those of you who don't know, PSP Game SaveData is encrypted, but Team n:exp's program decrypts the file and makes it editable. You can even use Cheatworks to make a file editable on your PC:
PSP's savedata is encrypted to prevent you from editing it. But you use Cheatworks PSP Type S, you can edit savedata on your PC.
* Create backup to export decrypted data.
* Open /PSP/SAVEDATA/(opening savedata dir)/(data file).backup And edit it (you must not change file size)
* Restore active state from backup to apply.
* Just save it.
Make sure you read the full documentation included with the download! I played around with this application a bit and it locks up frequently, but it is a beta release and with your constructive input and assistance, those kind of bugs can easily be worked out.
I wonder if this could be used to run arbitrary code through savegames? Similar to the GTA hack.
sounds nice, might give it a try later
