Region Free?

Hi, sorry if this has already been answered but will the ds be region free ( you can play games from japan, usa, europe on all system), like previous Nintendo handheld consoles?

I have no clue. I don't think nintendo would do that however. that would be pretty cool though ;D

Why would they change now? they've done it with their last few consoles.

Sup. Im new here but i can answer that question. I have word from playerschoice.com the the regional wireless gaming service might be free for about 2 or 3 months but after that u guys better pay up.

If they follow all the other GBA's yes. There will be no region lockout. Even PSP only has region lock out on the movie disk and not the games.

I think diablo, the reference is to whether or not we can play games from america/japan/europe on all forms of the DS. As in no reional locking.
