I just copy & pasted the info from Ebay. This is not my item, but I thought homebrewers will find it useful!

This item was used by Sega to burn the Dreamcast
games to the DreamCast GD rom disks. This is what sega
called a developers box. This box is fully functional.
Comes with no disks, power cords, or any other Sega
equipment/accessories. To connect, it requires a standard
computer power and SCSI cable, seller does not
provide these.

Uhh.... all that is is just the GD writer... no Dev box in that auction...
Thanks for Everything,
PSPdemon
edit: oh fyi, a devbox is a HKT-01
also...that GD Burner is pretty high priced IMO

This same seller has tried before, but with his low rating, the relatively high price and the inability to confirm that it works, he's not gotten it sold.
If anyone is looking to buy, sell, trade games and support a developer directly at the same time, consider joining Goozex. Enjoy!
As it happens, I have a HKT-01 (aka Set 5) in a cupboard and was considering sticking it on ebay to make space. But I'm not sure I can be bothered finding all the leads to test it.
I also found some Developer's Conference notes and a Saturn System/Key Disc and have put these on ebay to see what happens.
The really big internal wrestle is as to whether I sell my treasured Sega/Dreamcast leather jacket ...
I'm on ebay uk as gadgetmind and the conf notes are item 270311368548 should anyone be interested.
I'll be sticking lots of other Saturn and DC related stuff on ebay over the coming weeks as I've been told that it all needs to go. :-(

OK, the deed is done, HKT-01 now on ebay.
