Default Could this mean Ubuntu on the DS?

    http://www.ubuntu.com/news/arm-linux

Apparently ARM and Canonical are making a Linux system specificially for the ARM7.

Could this possibly mean an Ubuntu/more advanced Linux port to the DS?

It is a bit more of a hope than anything else.

The new Linux system would be small enough to cope with the ARM7 but it would probably be too large for the limited RAM, we'd need to find out how to get more RAM.

4 mb's of ram wont get you far when it comes to linux...

using gnome wouldnt be possible...nor kde nor xfce

youd have to use something much lighter when it comes to that.... fluxbox, icewm, jwm, just to name a few might be a better combo and using it in a specialized distro...

however we have uclinux on ds...why do you want to run a full blown OS like ubuntu? you surely wouldnt be able to run much of anything :/

thats what i think about it anyway

    Thanks for Everything,

Perhaps a legit OS for the DSi?
