Default Tell me if I did everything correct

    I have:

    - First generation fat PSP (CFW 5.00 M33-3)
    - PSP-290 bought from play-asia.com

    I got:

    - MapThis 0.5.20 with holux support for slim psps
    - Global Map Download Tool 0.5.08b

I copied over the FW3.XX mapViewer folder into my PSP/Game directory. (I tried copying to Game371 and Game380 but the application doesn't show up). I followed the newbie proof guide to generate a map using GMDL and copied it to the map folder in the mapViewer folder.

I'm trying to test out the GPS by pushing the Square button but it says "GPS State Off" no matter if I have the receiver plugged in or not. Is that normal or is my receiver defective?

    UPDATE:
I got it working. The problem was the key 0x0041 was bad from previous downgrading on my psp. Got that fixed and now the GPS State is ON.

    Hi there
I have exactly the same setup as yours, except my fw is 5.00M33. (Fat PSP, MapThis 0.5.20, GPS unit...are the same.)

This is what I get when I run MapThis:

ERROR: COULD NOT START USB BUS DRIVER
    GPS WILL BE DISABLED

I am trying various things...but so far none worked.
    (usbacc.prx thing, etc)

    Any suggestions?

    (LATER) Please see this:

It was as simple as disabling CFW prx'es by going into the Recovery Mode (Press R and then boot your psp, go to Advanced, Plugins, then disable everything there).
