Psp Datel 4gb Hard Drive

can any help me, i recently brought a Datel 4gb hard drive, when i tried to download some music from the net straight to the hard drive i kept getting a message saying that there is not enough space on the memory stick, even though i have over 3000mb still remaining,

please advise

I don't have one myself, but I suggest you format it again. First connect it to your PSP, then right click on the PSP drive and click Format. Change the file type to FAT and then run that. When that done, unplug the PSP, go to the PSP system settings and format it using the PSP. That ought to do it. I remember reading an article that said the first time it is formatted, it doesn't work.
