IRC Chat Microsoft On Windows 7 UAC Security Hole: "This is Not a Vulnerability"

Even though the gaping breach in Windows 7's User Account Control feature seems, to all eyes, like a pretty easy fix, Microsoft appears to be in denial mode with MS expert Mary Jo Foley.

I don't think it is great deal about not prompting users for changing UAC security settings. Geek users do find annoying when the pops up said "are you sure to do something". They know what they are doing why prompting me for some stupid pop-ups?

I don't know what the end users think but my guess is for who don't know much computer they would not touch the option at all, so why the pop up window is there the first place?
