    Default Strange glowing "crack" (Bricked?)

Hiya all. I've got a friend who treats his PSP like crud. I fixed it once after it was bricked; it wouldn't turn on except for recovery mode and the screen was just black. But _now_ he has a new thing. When the PSP is on, there's a multi-colored "slash" down the middle. You can't even get into recovery mode. There's no crack seen in the screen or anything when it is off.

What is this? What caused it? Magnet damage? Dropped? PSP homebrew bug?

Should I treat it like being normally bricked?

    Default

Restore with pandora and if it continues with the same the screen must be damaged, with a magnet perhaps
