    Wink Psp Hack Idea?

Sry if i am a noob for saying this but would someone consider making their own firmware based on sony's but instead of blocking the kernal system allowing it.
Also so when the psp checks for the right firmware files the psp is being tricked and really the files are completely different. I'm really sorry if you think this is a stupid idea and i know it sounds easier than it is, but if someone would like to try it then it would be great

What makes you think hackers haven't tried it already?

There is also one big hole in using a custom firmware. Each time Sony release a new firmware, the coders would have to find out what new features have added that games need, reverse engineer and modify their own base.

Eg 1.0->1.5. 1.5 added some new API/Hardware calls that games used. This was why some games wouldn't work on version 1.0 even with a firmware spoofer.
