    Default 5.00M33-6 with PSP290

The program starts up fine, everything runs fine, except the clock speed is set at 110mhz (unchangeable), and the gps status is off.

I checked that the fake-gps is off in the options txt, the connections are good.

Everything checks out, but it doesn't seem to work.

    Any ideas?

Did the program work before you updated?
Or is this the first time you're trying out the GPS adapter?

Wich version of MapThis! you're using?
I'm using the latest 05.20 with PSP-290 and they work fine to me.

Like I've downloaded I've put MapThis! in MS.

    Default Frustrated by PSP-290!!!

    Hi all,

    I just bough PSP-290 (togheter with Go!Explore)
but up to now I was not able to make it working
with my PSP. The receiver is not seen at all
    by my PSP.

    I've a fat PSP, Motherboard TA 79-81 (as seen by Keycleaner v 1.4), Custom firmware: 5.00 M33-6.
I serached in the various formus and it seems that
several people fixed this problem using keyCleaner
by fixing one specific key (#41). To me, the
program says "Congratulations, your key appear to be fine", i.e. nothing strange!
I reformatted the Memory Stick, nothing.

    - I tried the PSP-290-TEST by deniska but it fails telling something like "usb bus error" and it exits.
    - GO!Explore tells me "please insert GPS receiver"
    - MapThis 0.5.2 shows "GPS state OFF" even if I
activate the PSP-290 flag in the configuration file.

It is worth saying that my USB port is fine, i.e. I can exchange data with my PC.

Any help to a (very) frustrated PSP-290 user ?
    Anyone had similar problems?

Are you able to get another PSP? Maybe your receiver is broken. Try your Go explore on another PSP.
