I always wondered the same thing. Then I tried Zelurkers continued update to the TYL EMU and I was blown away. In terms of performance and stability, this is by far the best EMU on the PSP. IF there were more games for the Neo Geo CD, this would be the best EMU period. But because the SNES has so much more games, SNESTYL is the favored EMU. I guess the SNES is a lot harder to emulate than the Neo Geo CD which is why Neo Geo CD EMU's perform so good.

Zelurkers is the best one for sure.

this one is getting there, but NEEDS to be faster.

And i don't know if it works on 2.0 or above, because I'm on 1.5 and couldn't care less.

The Zelurker emu is plays faster, loads faster, has better support for zipped roms, and as of now is just better. but keep an eye on this one, because he's GOING to nail it 100% I think.

just make sure you find that neocd.bin file that you NEED in order to bring the joys of NEOGEOCD to life.

have fun! this is definalty the hardest emulator to get running, and takes up the MOST space for sure, but the payoff is SOOOOO sweet!

Best emus on the PSP as of now (at least Zelurkers is)

no it needs that file to be in there with everythig else

the authors of the emu cant supply you with that you have to go find it on the net, but its not hard to find

    its called neocd.bin

Just CD games. But games like Pulstar, Metal Slug, etc. play so damn well that it is worth it. This EMU lacks save states but the EMU emulates the memory cards so progress in games is saved. So you don't always have to start from the 1st level when freshly running the EMU.

Does anyone know if state saves will be included in future releases; in other words, is it even possible? I love playing Metal Slug, but it is a bummer having to start from the beginning each time.
