Will this work to start .dol homebrew?

Do I still need to get a gecko adapter with it, or because it comes with a memory card I dont?

i dont think that will work, because you have to add the SDLOAD code manually and the pic has a box with Wii written on it, and in the version compatible with wii you cant enter codes manually. if you just want homebrew, go for Datel SD media launcher.
