Well done Ireland, fantastic.

It has been St Patricks day this week, and I seem to remember that last year when Wales won it was in the week of St Davids day. A coincidence, but if you were superstitious you may think that fate was with Ireland this year.

England came second with equal points to Wales and France but a better points difference.

2 years ago Ireland lost the champion on st paddy's day by points difference to France.... which sucked.

The 6 nations always ends the same week as st paddy's day I think



anyway, 24 years since Ireland last won the Championship, and 61 years since their last grand slam, yet they are the 2nd most successful side (match wins), behind France. So its been a long time coming

Ireland deserved the win, hopefully the luck will go into the next tournaments.
