is there not a legal problem with this, giveing away someones book for free without premission? (not trying to start a fight, just wondering)
Our good friends over at DC Evolution have posted this excellent and rather unique release news.[br][br] Here is another novelty release from DC Evolution made by DCDayDreamer. It is the first e-book for the Dreamcast containing the classic Alice in Wonderland. This time we used the DC Tonic menu to bring you this unique release. In this way we could bring you the complete book including the original illustrations made by John Tenniel for Alice in Wonderland. To make the ebook complete we added some classical background music.[br][br]For more information, screenshots and downloads see the DC Ebook: Alice in Wonderland page! [br][br]Excellent Idea

Darksaviour69: If you downloaded the image and read you'll find all the info on the CD.
OK, so I'm presuming your not going to, so...
The book was written in 1865 (yes it's that old), copyrights on the book are no longer a concern, same for the original art (also included). There's plenty of info on the web if you want to check.
Now if I release my DC EBook: Lord Of The Rings...
that would be a different matter (and a 400mb plus download) .
ahh i was wondering myself but i knew that dcevolution wouldnt do any dodgy stuff.
makes you wonder what other quality ebooks are of no copyright concern for future releases for dcevo.
This really has a nice presentation. Ebooks definately need more attention. Any chance of doing more of them? I would love to see an Ebook of the Bible. Since it doesn't take up much room it would be really nice to have more than one translation of the Bible on a DC Ebook as well.
Thanks for the Alice book I like it.
yeah i thought that there was a time limit copy right, just making sure. good idea never thought of it, we should release the passion of christ ebook, pig-back the movie ;D
any other cool books that are along the same freeware lines?
all of Shakespeare ;D
The possibilites here are amazing and Kudos to DCEvolution again for such a unique release. Simply amazing
Well, another personal favourite and all time classic is 'The Wizard of OZ'.
I've got a version similar to the Alice in Wonderland release, but it'd need some reworking for a DC Evolution release if there was enough interest.
