    Default Flatout.... French... WTF!?!?!

I just bought Flatout for Xbox at a local Wal-Mart here in Virginia. And the friggin' instructions are in French!!!!!!!!!!! The game is in NTSC format (not too sure if French games are differnt), but the game itself is not in French. The only english in the whole manual is on the back. W......T.......F

Sounds like you got the Canadian version of the game. Despite the fact the game is in English anything coming into our borders is packaged with alternate French instructions and sometimes they forget to put the English instructions back in after re-opening them (first shipment of Final Fantasy 9 came like this). Other then that i really see no reason behind a French instruction manual.

Games sold in France are in PAL format.

Not if they are from Canada (which as stated above, often come with a french manual and are in NTSC format). Even so It sounds like someone made a mistake in packaging. Im sure that other people that bought the same game at the same time as you have the same problem.
