    General games ZX-81 Interview

    via Bazzie Bizzle.com

Over at Bazzie Bizzle.com we've posted an interview with DCEmu's very own ZX-81. Here's a short quote:

About a week ago I did an interview with emulator author ZX-81 to kick off an all new "Interviews" section here on the site. The following is a quote from that interview, which I have now posted.

Recently, I caught up with one of the emulation and homebrew community's most dedicated coders. Ludovic Jacomme (aka ZX-81 or simply ZX for short) has ported dozens of emulators and other applications to the GP2X and PSP handhelds. If you own a PSP and you're into running homebrew applications and emulators, then you've likely heard of ZX or at least installed one of his programs.

Here's the whole interview. You may also want to read this 2006 interview with ZX-81 here on DCEmu.

    Thank you.

ZX-81 really knows how to give a good interview... plus he's a real nice guy.

Zx is the best. I requested that he give us a fully working Atari2600 Emu. Actually I begged, pleaded or at least annoyed him to the point he made it (to shut me up?) LOL
It made my PSP experience awesome. I hope he moves on to the Pandora when it comes out (in 2 months ) As I'll once again want to have that wonderful Atari 2600 on that device as well!!
(Especially seeing as how my PSP is no more....)

Thanks again ZX, you are the man!

zx is incredibly nice and a true gentleman, not to mention he's extremely gifted and dedicated. Much respect goes out to him and his hard work. He's one of the only reasons the psp scene is still remotely interesting.

Hu-go is a treat, and the Stella port is perfection.

Well he must have liked you or something, his Stella port for PSP is awesome. Perfection, as Dembonz put it.

Thank you... actually I'm working on an interview with a Wii scene coder as we speak. It should be posted around Sunday night or Monday morning.

...and beers. No wait, that was Budweiser.

    ---------------

I'd like to thank everyone who read the interview, especially those who were kind enough to leave such positive comments here and on my site. Also, thanks to the staff here for allowing me to post about the ZX-81 interview (and running it on the main page to boot).

The emulation scene today is filled with excess drama and infighting, but I think the secret to DCEmu's well deserved success might just have a little something to do with the polite, sunny, and helpful atmosphere created by the staff and members.

    Thanks again guys,
    -Jay (bazziebizzle)
